How it works
  1. 01Open the PDF that should become a form — it stays on your device.
  2. 02Pick a field type (text, multiline, checkbox, dropdown), click where it belongs, drag to fine-tune, and name your fields.
  3. 03Click Create. The fillable PDF downloads — or open it straight in Fill PDF Form to test it.

Most "forms" in circulation are just documents with blank lines — the recipient prints them, writes by hand, and scans them back. Adding real fillable fields usually meant Acrobat Pro. This tool does it in the browser: place fields on the page visually, and the output is a standard AcroForm that every PDF reader understands.

And because the whole design session runs on your device, the contract, application or registration sheet you're turning into a form is never uploaded anywhere — which matters, since form templates are usually the documents that get reused for years.

FAQ
Are these real form fields or just boxes drawn on the page?+

Real interactive AcroForm fields — the same kind professional tools create. The output opens as a fillable form in Adobe Reader, every browser's PDF viewer, and our own Fill PDF Form tool. Recipients can type into the fields, tick the checkboxes and pick from your dropdowns.

What field types can I add?+

Single-line text fields, multiline text areas, checkboxes, and dropdowns with your own option list. Each field gets a name you can edit — useful if the answers will be processed later.

Can I test the form before sending it?+

Yes — after building, one click opens the result directly in our Fill PDF Form tool so you can try every field yourself, without downloading and re-uploading anything.

Is my document uploaded while I design the form?+

No. The page previews, the field placement and the final form file are all produced in your browser. The document never leaves your device.
